Anti-Islam or anti-hypocrisy

Dear Dr Pipes,

Objective and free-thinking people of the world are duty-bound to think freely and objectively: what looks like anti-Islamic thought, in actuality, is anti-hypocrisy and pro-golden-rule thought. There is no justification for any one to wish to convert the west to Islam. There is no justification for any one to mix any one religion with the state. There is no justification for any one to demand more and more and give less and less. There is no justification for any one to support democracy in the west and keep mum about democracy in the Islamic regions of the world. There is no justification for anyone to talk about human rights in the west but not even allow freedom of thought in the Islamic nations.

The western sentiment that appears to be anti-Islamic is nothing but a sentiment against hypocrisy.
