if Germany was a jewish stateReader comment on item: Pretending Tel Aviv, Not Jerusalem, Is the Capital of Israel Submitted by myth (Germany), Feb 7, 2014 at 04:38 Guardian of Deen, the oldest city of Germany is Trier. It was founded by the Roman Empire and happened to be its capital for a short while. Do you suggest Germany should return it to Italy? Also, Triere is an almost religious place of pilgrimage. Many Chinese visit the city as it is the birthplace of Karl Marx. Should we present the Comintern ( Communist International ) with the keys of the city? The people who actually live in the city choose the pragmatic path of continuing a culture the Romans introduced: growing wine and drinking it. Turkish prime minister Erdogan recently came to visit his "dominion" in Germany fishing for votes. You do not suggest we declare majority-Turkish parts of Berlin as "Turkish occupied zone" following the tradition of the Cold War's partition of the city? Probably all of the above would be on the agenda if Germany was a jewish state.
