Nation Of Islam, Present GenerationReader comment on item: How Elijah Muhammad Won Submitted by Ameer Labeeb Hassan (United States), May 18, 2014 at 22:46 I find Daniel Pipes essay on "How Elijah Muhammad Won" very interesting though early life of Elijah Muhammad is theologically contradictory. But it is an undeniable fact that Elijah Muhammad has been instrumental in bringing most black Muslims together. The present generation of "Nation of Islam" are courageously reforming with The-Qur'an and traditions of Last Messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Such an evolutionary change is due to immigrant Muslims from the east as well as support from theological scholars of Middle East. I see the future of "Nation of Islam" very evolutionary rather than revolutionary and it will attract most black Afro-Americans within its fold. However, too much rhetoric on anti-semitism and against white race would thwart its attraction to many blacks in America of today. But such rhetorics are of the past. In Obama's USA, Nation of Islam should abandon racial card and stick to basic teachings of Islam: Monotheism, respecting all humans irrespective of race or color and divine laws to prevail with every human living. What fails to be understood here is that Minister Farrakhan grossly DEVIATED from the teachings of The Last & Greatest Messenger of Allah in the person of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH), who taught him (Farrakhan) that God/Allah is Man. Most immigrant Muslims from the East own retail businesses that sell pork, scratch tickets, alcohol, and cigarettes to the Black Community and only follow the Qur'an when it BENEFITS THEM TO DO SO. They are NO HELP at all. The "racial card" is a fact of life in America that a foreigner just wouldn't understand because they haven't been enslaved under a religion that made them something other than their "Own True Selves." According to Master W.D. Fard Muhammad, to whom all praise is due, the time has arrived for the master to separate from his slave, and the slave from his master. Since this situation involves the Black & White races, there can be no avoidance of the "race issue," Obama or no Obama. There is no difference between so-called orthodox Islam and Christianity. Both believe in an invisible spook/spirit god, and that could be the only attraction for spiritually dead Black people to so-called orthodox Islam. The Nation under The Most Honorable Silis Muhammad has made no such "reform." Truth is Truth, and it MUST BE TOLD whether you agree with it or not. Funny thing is, the Qur'an refers to Allah as "He," "Him," "His," and "We" but you still DENY THAT ALLAH IS MAN.
