Is CAIR Lying about a Rally for Hamas?- OF COURSE THEY AREReader comment on item: Is CAIR Lying about a Rally for Hamas? Submitted by rodney allsworth (Australia), Aug 22, 2014 at 17:23 Mr Pipes, you never seem to include the Muslim teaching of - MURUNA - it is the license the Koran gives to its followers to lie to unbelievers, and the fact that the concept that- Islam is a religion of peace - only under submission to Islamic rule and compliance for all infidels to pay special taxes just to be allowed to live. the Muruna teaching is so much more alive and being enacted on a daily basis by all forms of Muslim authorities it is astounding that it is not openly spoken of as a factor in answering much of the Muslim speakers comments. I do thoroughly respect your writings on so much of the worlds Islamic issues, plus your vast knowledge of its intricacies, however on this point I bring to your attention, please include it in your writings as part and parcel of the -whole issue. rod qld aust Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: I am cautious about this term, murūna, which means flexibility. I don't know how widespread or legitimate it is outside some Muslim Brotherhood circles. Reader comments (10) on this item
