However, I think Sharon and Bush have the handicap of living in the real world. We do not face the pressures that they face and compromise for them is necessary. Alastair Crooke obviously adheres to the philosophy of the school of useful tools. People whom terrorist organizations happily use for publicity. Yasser Arafat was particularly skilled at recruiting these well meaning simpletons. In any case, we face an uphill battle. Violence has always been an effective route to power.
