Fundraising for the HAMAS fundraiserReader comment on item: Hamas vs. America Submitted by Northern Virginiastan (United States), May 3, 2005 at 18:38 Dr. Pipes,I find it intriguing that Ismail Selim Elbarasse was arrested for videotaping the details of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay Bridge the weekend immediately after he was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the indictment of Musa Abu Marzook, Muhammad Hamid Khalil Salah, and Abdelhaleem Hasan Abdelraziq Ashqar for fundraising for HAMAS (refer to UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. Marzook, et al., http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/iln/indict/2004/marzook_et_al.pdf), Surely the motorists on a weekend getaway who observed the suspicious behavior of Elbarasse and his wife and notified authorities could not have been aware of that fact. The Sheraton Premier Hotel in Tysons Corner, Virginia will be the site of a fundraiser for Abdelraziq Ashqar and aspring assassin Omar Abu Ali on May 22. The Muslim Link, a newspaper serving the Washington, DC area Muslim community, provided a full-page ad free of charge for this fundraiser. Confirmed speakers include Shaker ElSayyed, Secretary-General of the Muslim American Society (the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood) and Imam Seraj Warraj, unindicted co-conspirator for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Thank you for your tireless work.
