Naive, Arrogant Legislators

It seems as if the US Congress is not the only legislature in the West to govern via an establishment conspiracy of silence on major issues, including immigration. I think the move by most of Sweden's political parties to exclude the SD from effecting policy on immigration is not only undemocratic in spirit and likely to inspire opposition amongst the electorate, but it also reflects the genuine naïveté of its authors, who effectively have discounted what I would view as the very real possibility that jihadists from within Sweden's immigrant communities may well force the immigration issue to center stage before 2018, and with no concern for the legislative process.
