Targets of an Inconvenient Political RealityReader comment on item: 3 French Soldiers, 3 Sitting Ducks Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Feb 4, 2015 at 11:37 In a rare commiseration by which this reader completely agrees with Dr. Pipes, the presence of French Military in visible posturing at potential targets of the out of control anti-Semitic rage in France are, at minimum, tokens of an otherwise diffused dialogue about what to do with Jewish influences in France; and at maximum, an obfuscation of the overt diatribe of the government in joint agreement with the 'Palestinian' overture to have the United Nations, with France consenting as loudly as any, expel Israel from her historical lands. Did not France learn about territorial questions with Alsace-Lorraine? True tokens of political friendship are to be measured either with honest conversations about security in the relationship and alliances formed to protect the common good; or in the alternative as in France's situation with Israel taking on the form of an uneasy and inconvenient acquaintance, putting on a show of feigned intentions for the sake of appearances only. France has been shown the truth, but has not relented nor repented of the mistreatment of a country that has a long modern relationship with the French from before 1948, but which is still out of sorts. Couple France with the cohorts of the EU that struggle with the stumbling block of Jerusalem and one will see that these things are Biblically forecasting the truth that France chooses to ignore. Irrespective of political motives of posting of 'sentries' at ever-increasingly sensitive 'targets' of the enemy within, as was seen in the past, they are barely deterrents of a hatred instilled by the increasing anti-Semitism in Europe; and are now targets themselves of an increasing hatred of not only Jewish sentimentalities, but further of any who would defend or argue for any tolerance of a Jewish homeland instead of a 'Palestinian' replacement.
