Yes - this is just another example of Obama's incredible stupidity. Did he not know that there would be hundreds of thousands of people who actually know a great deal more about the history of the Crusades and how they were in essence a defensive war against muslim occupation of the 'Holy Lands'?

The fact that he even tries to hoodwink public on subjects he knows nothing and how easily it glides off his tongue speaks volumes about him.

The long-held Crusade grudge held by muslims remains so because they did not win. They did not win in Austria either but for some reason they are more ticked off about the Crusades.
