agree w/ Pipes on this oneReader comment on item: Turkey's election and ISIS' threat Submitted by RC (Turkey), Jun 10, 2015 at 08:57 I agree with Dr. Pipes on both points, that this was a rejection of Erdogan's authoritarian style rather than rejecting an Islamic vision for Turkey and second I think that in spite of the meager (12%) effort of the HDP the Turkish Islamists and nationalists will barrel ahead under his leadership.
