Rogue dictatorshipReader comment on item: Turkey Is on the Path to Rogue Dictatorship Submitted by Edmond Beniacar (Australia), Oct 26, 2015 at 18:46 I have a question We all know that the military has been seriously sidelined, but we also know that it is mostly of the Ataturk political persuasion. Any takeover by Ergdogan will be fairly blatant and difficult to disguise from anyone other than his committed supporters. What is the possibility the military may decide that he has gone too far and step in ? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
