Are you aware of Ted cruz's theology on the last days?

Cruz holds to dominion theology, a doctrine that looks for a catastrophic event to give Christians control of the world. This group was excited about Y2K but nothing came of it. Would Cruz look to create or at least not prevent a world wide catastrophe? No one knows but this may be a reason he is not getting more support from Christians.
