"I have never heard a politician say "IslamISM."Reader comment on item: Radical Islam creates terrorism Submitted by JOHN MOORE (United States), Mar 28, 2016 at 08:29 Congratulations to Ted Cruz on his appointment of Frank Gaffney Jr. and The Center for Security Policy as National Security Advisors. That has clearly been a game changer. Ted Cruz appeared on the CBS This Morning show and was being drilled about his comments to patrol Muslim communities. Ted Cruz clobbered Gayle King with his newfound expertise and correctly pointed out that "IslamISM" is different than Islam and he wasn't painting with a broad brush. Not only did Ted Cruz pick the best team of advisors, he is listening to them and using this newfound education with a noticeable expertise. I am hoping that Ted will recognize the importance of this issue and make it his number one priority. Words matter and Ted Cruz is empowered by this new understanding.
