the special case of political correctness in BelgiumReader comment on item: Tracking Down the Brussels Attackers Submitted by myth (Germany), Mar 28, 2016 at 12:21 Belgium is split along the linguistic line of French and Dutch speakers. This is the special case of political correctness in Belgium. Politicians do not dare to state the fact that Molenbeek in the now French-speaking Brussels breads active terrorists in a way that Sharia4Belgium in Dutch-speaking Antwerpen does not. This thought would provoke the follow-up question why are there so many North-Africans in Brussels anyway? Well, the answer is that North-Africans count as French speakers in Belgium and by their head count they produce majority-French-language neighborhoods. That translates North-African immigrants into tax money, EU-money, votes, political power, and jobs going to French-speakers in those neighborhoods. In short, muslim immigration is an instrument of power to intra-Belgian conflicts. As a result Belgium's political forces have a two-state, a three state, and a one-state solution to the problem. Three-state-Belgium is the status quo: a French speaking part, a Dutch speaking part, and some muslim enclaves as the third state. Flanders advocates the two-state solution, that means an independent Flanders that would not need to worry about Molenbeek safely in the French Wallonie state. The islamists go for the one-state solution: One Belgium under Sharia. I believe that if Brussels police, or rather policeS, were to rigorously track down islamists, this raid would revert Brussels back to the majority Dutch-speaking flemish town it was before Belgium was even founded.
