Creating space for ME Christians

Its a 100 hundred years since the Sykes-Picot agreement created the political boundaries of the Muslim world. This agreement, as Daniel Pipes points out, is now out of date. I believe we need re-visit the ME, but this time not as nation builders, but as nation creators.

Not that long ago, Jews too were a nation-less people, and suffered a Holocaust as a consequence. So too are Christians of the ME. They too have lost their nations. They too are being driven out of their homes, and killed. They too are suffering massacres. They too face extinction.

Post Sykes – Picot is to form nation states for Christians and Kurds. They really deserve it. Grant them a Western shield, as they live in a difficult region.

Christians in the ME get a hard time from Muslims, even as refugees in the West. Worse in a Muslim nation. Surely they deserve a nation which they can call their own.

I'm sure that tolerant and right thinking people,even in the ME will see this as just and fair.
