The Elite Oligarchy, and the New World Order

Reader comment on item: Why I Just Quit the Republican Party
in response to reader comment: Leaving the Republican Party

Submitted by MIchael S (United States), Aug 6, 2016 at 00:10

Hello, Ilbert. You said,

"...but calling Mr. Trump names, that are easily applicable to Mr. Obama, and leaving the Republican party does not sound like an intelligent decision to me..."

I agree completely. ... . I am used to seeing present make rational articles; but now, what can I say?

"What marvelously highbrow names you call people! You must be very educated!"

Daniel has joined a chorus of other well-heeled, Ivy-League-educated, insider, establishment Republicans (This isn't just "name-calling", like Daniel has been doing; this actually describes people like Clinton, Obama, all the Bushes and their flunkies), in trying to destroy the Republican Party. Why? because "one of them" did not win the nomination.

What does this mean, in political terms? It means that what we are witnessing is not a contest between Republicans and Democrats, between Liberals and Conservatives, or whatever traditional divisions one might use to try to describe the present craziness. What we are witnessing, is a clear-cut division between a privileged, self-entitled, extremely wealthy oligarchy and the ordinary people of America -- and, I might add, if you haven't noticed -- ordinary people in Britain, France and many other European countries as well; because the very same people (perhaps excluding Daniel Pipes) who have been attacking Trump, have been working double-time to preserve the undemocratic bureaucracy in Brussels, and to promote draconian, unfair trade deals like the TPP and the TTIP -- despite Hillary Clinton's flip-flop on her flip-flop on her flip-flop on some of these.

These are also the people, I might note, who have incrementally delegitimizing Israel; from B. Clinton's love affair with Yasser Arafat, to GW Bush's snubbing of Sharon and Olmert, to Obama's downright enmity with the Jewish state; and who, like Catherine Ashton and other EU bigwigs, who have persistently worked to undermine it. These are the people who, like George H. W. Bush, sought to create a "New World Order" -- an order ordained not by God, but by the latest crazy ideas of Harvard, Yale and Cambridge intellectuals: an order based on the destruction of the family, of legitimized immorality and of an attempt to erase the memory of Israel, of the Bible and of God. This is where the real contest lies; and I'm afraid Daniel is in the process of choosing the wrong side.

If any of this seems over the top; just wait a few months or years, and see what develops. If it seems now like a wild imagination, it will, all too soon, reveal itself as a living nightmare.
