World's democracies must cooperateReader comment on item: CAIR Leader: Overthrow the U.S. Government Submitted by Prashant (United States), Nov 13, 2016 at 10:31 Dear Dr Pipes, In the current state of our planet world's democracies are over and over being pitted against Islamic theocracies which support and advance one single religion. So democracies of the world need to cooperate with each other on all possible fronts. CAIR official's call to over-throw the US government --if true-- has a parallel in India. Earlier this year leftist student leadership in New Delhi's elite Jawahar Lal Nehru university in partnership with at least one student leader from Kashmir openly raised anti-India slogans. They pledged not to rest until "India is broken into many parts". CAIR's fundamentalism is no different from the fundamentalism that India faces. Both of them may have the same ideological and political backing. Your reader UNCLE VLADDI used the word sedition to describe what the CAIR official did. Indian government also brought sedition charges against some of the aforementioned students. US legal system is certainly more matured than the Indian system but they can still get some clues from each other about how to lawfully fight against fundamentalists. As always, nothing against Islamic countries! If they become secular democracies, 50% of their misery will instantaneously melt away. It can be done in one night: just cut the first few lines of the US constitution and paste it at the beginning of whatever constitution you follow. Rest of the things will fit into place.
