Do Nothing and Nothing Will be the Result

In this observer's very small circle of acquaintances, voting for neither major party candidate nor for the small entourage of other party choices left one thing clear about small time American politics; vote to do nothing and the status quo is assured.

Fortunately for the Trump camp, more electors were ticked off about the status quo than those who wanted more of the same.
Whether Trump is the political risk taker so many seem to be afraid of or if he is going to be the presiding agent of doom remains to be seen. One thing he is not is that where risk may need to be taken to get results, he is now in a better position to make such things happen. But, will it be enough? Depends upon one's point of view, now doesn't it?
