Trump has already helped Israel today before even coming into office

Israel's television news channels talked about Trump's tweeting against the Egyptian proposal at the U.N (and in favor of America veteoing it) as an important factor in Egypt's decision to withdraw its proposal, saying Egypt did not wish to get off to a bad start with the new administration.

Conversely, they mentioned that Israel estimated that Obama would not have vetoed it.
