Beg to differReader comment on item: A Palestinian Defeat is Good for All Submitted by Anon (United States), Dec 29, 2016 at 07:10 A lot can be said about this topic in favor of Israel but I think there is also a responsibility for Israel to occupy the moral ground at all times. I think the point that Palestinians might come to their senses after a defeat is correct but only if there is no permanent damage. Indeed one can argue that from a perspective of defeating Palestine to the point where they feel hopeless Israel is actually doing too little. What brought Japan to its senses was a terrifying nuclear attack that threatened to wipe them off the face of the Earth. What Israel is doing won't have the same effect from my perspective.
