Will Trump turn against Israel ?Reader comment on item: Will Trump Turn Against Israel? Submitted by allan enkin (Canada), Apr 3, 2017 at 13:15 When anti semitic,anti-Israel rhetoric has become the acceptable reality at the U.N. general assembly and its' many organizations, it is a refreshing change to hear a new voice at the U.N.calling out this racism and promising to vote against any motion at the Assembly that disproportionately deals with Israel. What a change from Samantha Powers who abstained from the moral responsibility of "We have your back" ! If the political position of the ambassador to the U.N. is a reflection of the position of its president it is a positive action in view of the Obama policy that so willfully abandoned a historical allie. I believe in spite of Trumps campaign rhetoric and the medias presentation of his persona he is quite a realist and he will be forced to deal with a world not of his creation, of which Obama and the progressives left for America.
