The term "honest broker" leads nowhereReader comment on item: The Paradoxical Peril of Warm U.S.-Israel Relations Submitted by PezDispenser (Israel), Jun 2, 2017 at 09:04 There's an idea out there that the US needs to be an "honest broker" in order to midwife an agreement. According to my understanding of the Israel Victory strategy, the USA must drop the honest broker idea and instead provide full backing of Israel in order to convince the Palestinians to give up sooner rather than later. Otherwise, the Palestinians will continue to have hope that America and the international community will "deliver" Israel.
