The US Should Not Be Aiding and Abetting the Jihad

UNRWA is an important tool in the jihad against Israel. It is a key component of the victimhood narrative designed to delegitimize Israel by demonizing Israel's victory in the 1948 and 1967 defensive wars, in maintaining the myth that Israel itself is merely occupied territory.

It is a moral imperative that the US not contribute to the agency of this malign narrative, even at the expense of a loss of influence.

Let the Russians fund it; let them deplete their treasury. The Russians never let morality get in the way of power (their alliance with Iran may prove to have been a strategic mistake) . Leadership demands the courage of one's convictions, not cynical pandering. We are not so weak that we have to fear the world's opportunistic weasels.
