Muslims against BuddistsReader comment on item: Racing Against History Submitted by Prashant, Mar 10, 2018 at 09:28 Dear Dr Pipes, thanks for you tweets recognizing the recent wars between Buddhists and Muslims (in Myanmar and Sri Lanka) and your link to the WSJ article about these wars. I think what I read in the comments section of an Indian newspaper describes the situation the best. The one-liner comment by some unknown person said: "On the other side of every war are Muslims". In your tweet you mentioned that Muslims have fought against Hindus and Christians through out history and now they were even fighting against Buddhists. I must add that in China they are fighting against Communists as well and we all know about their endless fights with Jews. This covers all religions of the world. The bottomline is that if there is any land to grab, the political party called Islam will try to grab it. It is as simple as that. Luckily, for the first time it appears that Islam is on a very tenuous moral ground and could be put on the defensive. People are talking about the hypocrisy of Islamic socio-political and religious leaders all over the world across cultures, nationalities and religions. This propaganda is extremely important. The goal of the war against Islam is to non-violently but firmly create an Islam that is less obsessed with itself and with God and more obsessed with humanity. If Muslims do not reform Islam, the rest of us will have to reform it for them.
