Seventh Brigade

Finest unit in the Israeli army is the Seventh Brigade. Armor. Formed in 1948 and staffed primarily by Americans who had fought in WW2. Very few Israeli knew how drive a vehicle at that time and American Jews adept at handing a car, doing maintenance. A standard of excellence was set that still exists.
