Today is the day of remembrance of the atrocities committed by the Ottomans when they tried to invade Italy and more than 800 Italians were murdered in Otranto, Itlay by the Turkish invaders. Many citizens of Otranto were sold in slavery. Nonetheless, the citizens of Otranto refused to convert to Islam and be saved from this barbarity

The atrocities of Otranto were the turning point where the Ottomans' advances in Italy and Europe came to an end, and the martyrs at Otranto saved Italy and Europe from the Ottomans and Islam
