Some of the worst excesses are left out

Some of Daniel Pipes' defenses of European populists are reasonable. However he leaves out the undermining of the rule of law in Hungary, where the government now controls the mass media, and in Poland, where the entire judicial system has been rigged from the supreme court on down. These abuses are still reversible in principle, since elections are still free.
