Islam makes people do weird things

Islam makes perfectly healthy people strap bombs to themselves and then blow themselves up so that as martyrs killing infidels they will be rewarded in the afterlife (9.111 of the Koran promises paradise to those who kill and are killed for Allah).

Islam makes men treat women like chattel to be corralled inside like pets, beaten, raped at will (as per Sharia requiring four male witnesses to prove), degraded by polygamy and possibly stoned to death for adultery.

Islam denigrates other religions to the point that church desecrations and the Holocaust are widely applauded, and the Armenian genocide denied.
Islam has provided the moral justification for centuries of imperialism and ruthless domination over distant lands, reducing their inhabitants to powerless dhimmitude (see 9:29 of the Koran).

Given all those weird things associated with Islam, their tiff with Israel seems pretty normal.
