Apologists in Congress and U.S. MilitaryReader comment on item: America's Early Apologists for Islamism Submitted by Mike Ramirez (United States), Nov 19, 2019 at 19:41 I only wish that our duly elected officials and military leaders who took an oath to defend our nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic, could understand this. Complacency, denial and political-correctness is the reason why Islam's fundamental leaders, imams, sheiks and mullahs, are unabated and will remain in a perpetual jihad against western civilization. In other words, the 1,400 year jihad against secular societies and western civilization has never quit and never will. Sadly, the ignorance and denial of America's leaders regarding the Islamic ideology and intent to establish a global Caliphate will be our downfall, unless we wake up very soon! For example: 911 Assessment regarding Islam not being the Enemy "Islam is not the enemy. It is not synonymous with terror. Nor does Islam teach terror. America and its friends oppose a perversion of Islam, not the great world faith itself. Lives guided by religious faith, including literal beliefs in holy scriptures, are common to every religion, and represent no threat to us." https://www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report.pdf "The enemy is not Islam, the great world faith, but a perversion of Islam." https://9-11commission.gov/report/911Report_Exec.pdf (And this from 2017) President Trump's newly appointed national security adviser on Thursday reportedly held his first "all hands" staff meeting where he said labels like "radical Islamic terrorism" are not helpful because he said terrorists are "un-Islamic."
