ZOAReader comment on item: A Reply to My Critics [Concerning Israel's Annexation of the West Bank] Submitted by Anne Julienne (Australia), May 12, 2020 at 10:24 I was deeply saddened by ZOA's attack and I very much hope you and Mort can get together for a beer soon. I did also find your NYT article surprising and disturbing having by then already read Inbar's firm support for annexation. I admire all three of you and it pained me to see such differences of opinion. Elements in your article suggest you had in mind an annexation of the entire "West Bank", not the 30% or so being mapped out as part of Trump's Peace Plan. That part is densely populated with Jews and very few Arabs while the part that has the Arabs has been set aside for the proposed Palestinian State. There are problems with this but they are different from the ones you wrote about. Anyway, I hope all this confusion dies down soon and a more united front can emerge among the pro-Israel analysts and writers.
