Israel's "Victory" Can Only Happen One WayReader comment on item: Is Israel Victory Still Needed? Submitted by Mike Ramirez (United States), Oct 8, 2020 at 13:40 Dr. Pipes, this is in reply to the conclusion: "The governments of Iran, Turkey, Russia, and China, plus the Israeli and global Left will most likely follow the Sunni Arab states' lead if the Palestinians have been compelled to abandon their illusion of eliminating the Jewish state." In that regard, please be reminded that the "...illusion of eliminating the Jewish state" is NOT the illusion solely of the Palestinians. That has been the fundamental and ultimate goal of the Islamic ideology that wants to eliminate not just the Jewish state but all non-Muslim societies. The Sunni Arabs follow Muhammad's commands from the Qur'an and Ahadith (sayings of Muhammad) and are as much anti-Semitic as the "Palestinian pawns" of Iran's Shia sect. In this, the real victory for Israel will be if the Sunni, Shia and all other sects of Islam renounce the teachings in the Qur'an and Ahadith that call for subjecting Jews to second-class citizens if they refuse to embrace Islam and where Allah is called upon to destroy Jews and Christians as taught in Islam: "And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!
