Helping the Enemy?Reader comment on item: Stupid Terrorists Submitted by Swahili Dinaz (India), Oct 6, 2005 at 13:04 Thank you Dr. Pipes for drawing our attention to other related discussions on 'Am I Helping the Enemy?', (leading to the post on 'How Terrorism Obstructs Radical Islam' and the Mona Charen article) in response to Michael Sandfort. Since there are no random articles on your site, each one motivated by much thought and careful presentation, I wonder how much more interesting would be the material that you are not sharing with us, out of a fair concern for not alerting the Enemy!About Radical Islam and terrorism, I don't see any split there, both being two sides of the same sword, each according to its own ability, both inspired by the same source and the same goal, eating in the same plate from a common pot (of donations). Your contribution lies in the amount of painstaking research you do, using your genius to put things together from varied sources to make sense of seemingly disparate events, or to make people aware of what lies under the nose, and then to leave it open to a most instructive debate that usually runs the entire gamut. Yours is an effective alternative forum for concerned people from all over the world, since the mainstream media have already been effectively trussed by Radical Islamists everywhere, and there is no room for normal sensible people to exchange ideas on this most imp. life and death subject affecting us all. In India, a Commission of Inquiry investigating into the excesses of the Indira Gandhi emergency rule had this to say of the national Press: "When asked to bend, they chose to crawl!" What we are witnessing currently is the same principle, which is why this forum provided by you is so important to this war. This is why it does not matter whether the Enemey reads it or not, given the fact that the Enemy is MAD, not human. Anything that gloats over perpetrating savage acts that endlessly generate acute misery and strife cannot be human. A pious devotee would ask whether a paradise that calls for such acts is worth going to in the first place. You cannot dialogue or debate with those whose eyes and senses are glazed over amid the killings, and those who justify such acts for whatever reason. But what is happening the world over is simply further brutalisation of humanity, including innocent victims and those who protest or fight the inhuman doctrine, including soldiers. This last, in fact, the slamming of the true martyrs for peace by the partisan votaries of Human Rights, is the most diabolical achievement of Islamist brokers and negotiators, and is as heinous as the acts of the terrorists, in clipping our chief instrument to protect us and to fight the evil. The Enemy is both stupid and cunning, extremely so, sometimes seductive as the true and only voice of PEACE on earth, amenable to reason, and at other times naked in ambition. This forum helps out in teasing out many important issues and making common cause with those who see behind the facade of bonhomie and cooperation. The good thing about your site is that many genuinely concerned Muslims are also taking part in the debate -- may their tribe increase -- so, Carry On, Doctor!
