New Mexico is the USA & the Law of Unintended ConsequencesReader comment on item: Updates on the Jordan-Is-Palestine Thesis Submitted by Robert (United States), May 21, 2021 at 19:02 Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes, I imagine that you are thinking of writing an important and informative expose regard an Israeli Victory in our current Gaza Missile Jerusalem Intifada. My reference to New Mexico is mostly a non-sequitur, except current events often appear so illogical, but not so in hindsight. I think a better focus on this matter would be to think of Citizenship and Residency. As you well know, West Bank Palestinians have been granted Jordanian Citizenship under the Jordanian "Occupation" (prior to the "Liberation" in 1967 (this occupation commenced in 1948). So it does not take much "work" on the part of the government or state of Israel to simply legally assert to Dual Citizenship of the descendants of these "refugees." But why stop there? As you also know, the Assad Dynasty for a long time maintained it "sovereignty" over Greater Syria, which under the Ottomans included all if not just most, of Palestine. And under competition with the Iranians, the current Russians in Syria wish to exploit their substantial investment there. Putin has a great opportunity to push out the Iranian Hezbollah occupation and Assad could be pushed aside with at least Palestinian Residency right in this remnant of Greater Syria. I will also suggested to Erdogan that the great Byzantine Mosque be converted back into its Glorious Eastern Roman Empire Status. Europe must be slowly waking up to the Muslim hoards, now mostly Syrian Arabs which have "invaded" Europe - as the Pagan Germanic tribes have done with the fall of the Roman Empire. I'm sure you know my drift. But I wish you would start once more thinking OUT OF THE BOX which you do so well. During Israel's War of Independence, there were 3 cease fires. But after each breach Israel boundaries (not legal "borders") expanded to its advantage - but was it really unfortunate that Egypt and Jordan occupied the land to the West and East? Perhaps it was the hand of Providence which divided the Palestinian remnants in 2 thus producing 2 Palestinian entities and regimes - all to the benefit of Israel long term goals - a Greater Israel. I'll just arbitrarily break off now to cite the work of the "academic" dogma of CRITICAL RACE THEORY in the USA; here, our Black Lives Matter movement sees the Jew of Israel as White and Privileged, and so our Conservative and Reform Jews, who are Liberal, are experiencing Anti-Semitism - SCHUMER & NADLER are cohorts of these Bleeding Hearts. ... So maybe Jordan is Palestine is at least part of the story ... to be continued, after all?
