It's the Left (certainly Communists) who deny the historical imperatives of NATIONALISM and IRREDENTISM. Arabs were long ago the subjects of Ottoman (Turkish) Imperialism. The British and French who liberated them from bon-Arab (Turkish) imperial domination failed to influence them into Modern forms of Governance and State formation. They remain mostly under the Hope and Illusion that the Ummah Muslim Community is the Way. Notice ISIS and the Moslem Brotherhood.
