Recruiting Terrorist's DisciplesReader comment on item: Aim the War on Terror at Militant Islam Submitted by George Lehrer (United States), Sep 28, 2002 at 16:23 Daniel:I agree with you that terrorist Islam is the enemy. But mainstream Muslims are staffing the world's websites, and spewing out lies and distortions of events and news. Mainstream Islam is part of the terrorist Islamic equation. Daniel, I write very well and am educated. If I desired, I could create websites that would spin the news, and make it appear that the truth were a lie. However, I would not do this. Why? Because I have a value system that includes "Honesty." Mainstream Islam, from my experience, does not hold a value of honesty. Their value is "winning." And, that means winning by lies and deception. In Northern California where I live, I speak to these people everyday. I hear their mendacious attitude. How are we to grapple with Islam? As you say, there are a billion or so of them?
