Accordingly, What are the Implications for an ISRAELI VICTORY?Reader comment on item: Give War a Chance Submitted by Robert (United States), Jul 16, 2021 at 05:25 I remind you of your advocacy for an ISRAELI VICTORY. It appears that Israel can never "win" any war or battle against any Muslim regime unless it nukes them out of existence which is a no no Jews or the Jewish State of Israel. Or do you advocate Regime Change and the consequent implied requirement of an all-out-war? There are also at least 3 other concept at work which only based on their English translations play a role in understanding the Muslim mind at war: Humiliation, Steadfastness, and Martyrdom. (1) Going to war means bravery, so it involves the extreme opposite of humiliation; and whatever this means to the Westerner, Christian or Jew or Secularist, it plays a far greater role in their adversaries' lives. (3) Steadfastness is another concept I often hear in the discourse of Arabs and Muslims. What ever it means, it follows that any war that doesn't result in the acquisition of one's goals merely means a battle lost, but "till the next time." I suspect that this comes out of the history of Muhammad's campaigns and what finally led to his great empire which even increased after his death by his Companions. A close reading of the Koran may give an insight of how a Muslim may treat any lost war as a mere battle in the long quest for ultimate Victory. Look at the Taliban after 20 years of fighting against the United States of America and our current "retreat" therefrom. (3) War against Muslims does not produce Victims. It only produces Martyr who go on to heaven to enjoy their 72 Virgins. But where do these 72 (Women) Virgins come from and how?
