Why Modern Humanity has No Chance Against Islamism - No Choice for PeaceReader comment on item: 20 years later. Islamism is the greatest threat Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Sep 12, 2021 at 04:40 This forum is a great environment to learn what centuries of religious hostilities have shown; only one practice of belief brings peace, if properly recognized and applied universally; the basic truth of the Jewish Scriptures: yet the world seems intent on rejecting that. While history teaches about the abrogation of everything religious for those same centuries of conquests of empires, it is about the ancient conquests by adherents of the Quran culminating in the modern Islamist's determination to conquer humanity in its totality that is the issue at hand; and Dr. Pipes contention and assertion of that existential threat remains now as potent to the eventual demise of civilization as it ever has been; and twenty years appears as never-ending moments of a nightmare that we are never rid of as shouts of death are in the minds and hearts of those who chose Islamism as an expression of never seeking peace in our time. It is an expression of the ultimate rejection of the peace spoken of by the Savior of the true Church of Yeshua, Jesus Christ: it is a truth that cannot be denied. It is a threat that cannot be handled (and many are the adherents heard from in this forum and they have a sense of false supremacy in their assertions of superiority); and that is why this forum succeeds in its presentation of how that belief system appears to function in perpetuity while at the same time attempts to define its limitations falls on deaf consciences. There is a sense of invincibility that is doomed in mortality. It is a tale of the ages, that Islamism remains in the human consciousness for one very real reason: mankind rejects a very basic premise of existence: humanity cannot be left to its own devices, for devising the methods of its own destruction is what it does best. The only time this was interrupted was when nearly two thousand years ago in the ancient lands of Israel, an itinerant Jewish preacher upset the world in Jerusalem by proclaiming peace to mankind of they would believe in Him and His offer of world peace. But like the attitude we see today about religious things, He was rejected by the majority and the religious authorities sought the Roman government's help to put Him to death by the cross (the location is still identifiable), where He was buried; then by the witness of thousands, He was seen raised from the dead and His story remains Of such is Dr. Pipes' observation is Islamism being the world's greatest threat. It is real; and its current approach can be seen in the world's impending crises stemming from the crucible that has overflowed from Afghanistan (think of history's battles for empire in that region, going back and forth from the Middle East to China and back; and Islamism is its modern creed. By remembering that the passion for peace by the Jewish Preacher was only intended to last for those who believe in Him, what happens to the world after that time is punctuated can only be speculated about: but the Jewish Scripture has already provided the clue. The choice to believe or reject is already given. The Islamists have already thrown the gauntlet, at the Temple Mount. It is what Abdullah is watching; who else?
