Reality As Anti-Religion Is Too SimplifiedReader comment on item: Augustin de Barruel Submitted by Roberta (United States), Sep 15, 2021 at 21:29 If I understand you, you've boiled it down to Barruel and Marx as being only against something, e.g., religion. They are against freedom, the family, and private property. The movement that followed is also a religion, Freemasonry and the Illuminati, both proven to be a religion. I conclude that the movement is bigger than communism which is not only against something as you say but is also for things, i.e., surveillance, collectivism, oppression, and dictatorship. Plus, they are for the State raising children rather than parents. The U.N.'s Agenda for the 21st Century informs the West that our very lifestyle is unsustainable. What are "unsustainable?" Grazing of livestock, fencing of pastures, modern farm production, logging, fossil fuels, dams, etc. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
