Removing Obstacles of Iranian Islamic Regime's ResolveReader comment on item: Current Developments in Iran and Israel Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Oct 20, 2021 at 16:06 Apparently, an issue that appeared to remain in the background was a potential perception that Russian ambitions may have been perceived as interference in the efforts to impose further pressures on returning Islamic control in the Golan, after Israel formally annexed the Golan into Jewish sovereign territory. This exposes Damascus to its prophetic destination as prescribed in Isaiah 17. For what allegiance does the Iranian Islamic Regime owe to preserving Damascus, especially in its diminished state? Anyone? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
