Atheistic Former Muslims - Difference from Practicing Islamists - Is the Reality of Change Real?Reader comment on item: Leaving the Allah Delusion Behind Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Apr 5, 2022 at 16:22 In Reader Prashant's offering that atheism is Islam may not be real, religious persuasion may be one of the more difficult observations to be advanced to something more than as an informed opinion. When one attempts to determine if a religious act that leads to a summary observation of resultants acts of violence committed in the name of that religion, does it really matter if one is still a practicing Islamist or apostate 'atheist' when commiting acts at the Damacus Gate; thismay be off-topic to Reader Prashant's observation, yet it is hard to distinguish when confronting indistgishable attackers and all are directing their anger towards common targets in consort with one another. Watch the fruit - is there a real difference? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
