Ancient Futilities Expressed in Modern TermsReader comment on item: Leaving the Allah Delusion Behind Submitted by M Tovey (United States), May 17, 2022 at 13:33 Since in these modern times it has been amply demonstrated that Islam has had its chance to conquer the then known world; and now that Turkiye has more than make its intentions known that it would reestablish the Ottoman Caliphate if given the right circumstances, where does an Islamic Scholar find the justification to make his own determination that resurrecting an ancient Roman appellation for a long gone ethnic people (Philistines) is historically sufficient to threaten the world with subjugation on terms already long ago dismissed as anticlimactic? More eloquent and dynamic attempts have come and gone; seriously? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
