Anticipation Realized - How Long Before This Trigger was Initiated Into Reality - Russia Obliged - Not Unexpectedly

With all eyes on the Ukraine, does Russian activity in Syria no longer matter? Between the issues of the itineranl struggle to subdue Syria for al-Asad and the proxy actions of the Iranian Islamic Regime's activties occurrng under Russian auspices as Syrian attutudes simmer while the in-country regime appears incapable of ever regaining sovereignty; does anyone believe this will be settled except that Russia's ambitions in the region will make more sense when the influences there are magnified when the Ukraine goes into hiatus?
History is turning the page; anticipating Russia's next move will be intriguing.
