Contention of Nation Building for 'Palestinians' Cannot be Resolved in KSA any More than in Jordan or IsraelReader comment on item: Sa'udi Policies towards Migrants and Refugees Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jun 14, 2022 at 18:55 What is really needed for the quelling of Middle Eastern contentions about the 'Palestinian' issue is for all parties to recognize that what was started by the west in attempting to partition the former Ottoman territories into Arab tribal divisions and also insert a place for the Israeli European refugees was an effort in futility; for the antipathies of the ages were never in more so contentious tones of hatred as they are shown to be now. Even in the perception that some moderation shown in the Abraham Accords is limited not all potential parties are in synch with allowing any quarter for Israel to share in the proportional division, that the loudest voices of the minority will never be quelled for the lack of common Quranic consent; Shiite or Sunni enmities notwithstanding. All expect others to be condescending to the 'Arab right of return,' to another's territories.
