Bit Players Britain and AmericaReader comment on item: Legacy of Empire Submitted by David Ryan (Ireland), Aug 9, 2022 at 21:08 I believe that the British Empire and American Empire were bit players in history, created solely to found and maintain the returned Israel, to be dispensed with afterward. They are apostate and will not be major independent players in the coming age of Anti-Christ. The British Empire brought about the prophesied return of Israel in 1948, not coincidentally the same number of years* between the creation of Adam and the birth of Abram, later Abraham, father of the Hebrews. The British Empire, having completed its purpose, folded the same year with the loss of India. And the American Empire protected and nurtured Israel in its infancy. America did not save western Europe and the world from Hitler. Stalin did that. America saved western Europe, the Middle East and the world from Stalin. Without Normandy, Stalin marches to the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans through France and Iran. But as the generation that saw these events dies (Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30, Luke 21:32)**, and Christ's return becomes imminent, the American Empire too is coming to a close and Israel will be defended by God Alone from the Anti-Christ Empire. Britain and America are not talked about in biblical end times because they were ephemeral and largely passive and circumstantial in their biblical roles. Britain did not deliberately create Israel. It simply left as it was leaving all its colonies and possessions. And America did not hold back the Soviet Union for the benefit of Israel. Israel's continued existence was just a small by-product of the global situation created by the Cold War. * Genesis genealogy to Abraham (Genesis 5-11 KJV from the Masoretic text, others vary slightly) Age of father at birth, cumulative years since the creation of Adam, major religion event that year AD. ** Matthew 24:34 "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." By 2048 (birth of Isaac) in AD, the vast majority of the generation that saw the rebirth of Israel will be dead, but 10s of thousands should still be alive, a few even old enough to remember the event.
