Contemplations of Chronological Christian Contemporary Circumstances

Reader comment on item: Legacy of Empire
in response to reader comment: Bit Players Britain and America

This observer, having spent decades of an almost entire adult life immersed in the quandaries of modern Christian circumstances and being inundated with myriad 'theories' of 'Christianesque' expectations of 'when' the sayings of the Messiah and the prophets would be fulfilled, even as they have plenty of scholarship by which they are able to claim some insight that might induce trust in what is being presented, the only questions remains: whom have they witnessed the Gospel to and was a trust in the Savior Messiah the result?
All else is still, even as Biblically supported as the mathematics might be, unresolved speculation that cannot be verified on this side of eternity.
That having been said and as intriguing as reader David Ryan's dissertation is, from the studies this observer has participated in over those decades, Britain, and America (never was an empire) as the colonial offspring of Britannia, are indeed inferred in Scripture, as part of the nations of that age to come, yet more specifically in Ezekiel 38:13 as amongst the 'youngs lions' inquiring inquiring of Gog/Magog of his/its intentions.
As alluded to in reader David Ryan's dissertation about Israel being reborn in 1948, Isaiah 66:8, et sequiter, is revealed as the fulfillment of that; and within the lifetime of those who were existant when that occurred, the subsequent events as expressed in the Ezekiel 38 and 39 accounts and as expressed by the Savior Messiah in His Matthew proclamations are in full display of operational revelation. Think not? Run those number again, but with a more thorough examination of what is really being fulfilled.
Ultimately, ask the more appropriate question: is the Gospel message being preached with results; or is that time accomplished? How many are being saved (when is that list full) before the Church is called out prior to His return? Funny (ironic) how the Gospel was more easily spread when British America had the King James version in order to advance the missionary cause of Messiah's message.
