Leveraging Against Global Perceptions of an Iranian Islamic Regime Preparing to Advance Its Perceived Cause

What does the Iranian Islamic Regime seek as its ultimate goal?
This seems to have an historical connection of the distinction between Shiite and Sunni directions of where following one form of Islam versus another; and how does the world view from their perspective drive their current ambitions. An opinion here seems to indicate that an Iranian Islamic Regime can dictate when a world controlled by their al-Madhi might be achieved if it is backed up by the threat of nuclear power.
Other nuclear powers might have an opposing opinion, so the trust factor has little sway here.
Even less is that potential of the United States having any influences after not being able to negotiate any satsifactory agreement, such being speculated as negligible.
