December 2016 - UNSC Resolution 2334Reader comment on item: In the Lion's Den Submitted by Robert (United States), Sep 25, 2022 at 23:18 Yes, Danny Danon is a wonderful Israelis politician, and I am pleased that you reviewed his book. However, I do not blame Danon for his failure of the US to veto the UNSC Resolution 2334, I take this failure more seriously, because it was such a rare turn-around in the US record of exercising its votes in defense of Israel. And it gives Abbas of the PLO another political card to accuse Israel of violating International Law. So your review here makes me wonder if this books gives any insight why US Ambassador did not exercise his Veto power? You, Dr Daniel Pipes, write here that it was Obama's revenge against Netanyahu, But I think the motive was deeper that that - it was Obama's undemocratic, and therefore hypocritical, desire to impose his own Foreign Policy on the Israel's citizens and American Jewish voters from the Right who support Israel.
