Talebans are bad Muslims all other Muslims are goodReader comment on item: Saudi Efforts to Impede Discussion of Women's Rights Submitted by Prashant (India), Dec 31, 2022 at 06:50 Dear Readers, (start of sarcasm) Today BBC reported that after banning Afghan women from going to college, the Taliban have also barred them from working for NGOs. I want to assure everyone that Taliban are bad Muslims. All other Muslims are very good. Even those who do not criticize the Taliban are very good. Those people (both Muslims and non-Muslims) who use the word Taliban without mentioning a connection between Islam and Taliban, are as good as they come. (end of sarcasm) But, I see a hope here. Hundreds of Muslims send their daughters to universities in many countries. Even these Muslims do not openly criticize the Taliban. They remain silent. This silence shows the weight of Islam on the Muslim minds. This weight will keep increasing until it reaches a breaking point. A day will come when Muslims will realize that defending Islam at all costs is more difficult than leaving Islam undefended. That will be a golden day for our planet. That day is not too far.
