The burkahs and all of the rest in my estimation have little to do with religion or cultural mores and more to do with property protection. In this west if I owned 2 mercedes and a Ferrari I would surely keep them in a garage and not out on the street for all to see. The Moslem man protects his human property (chatel) in the very same way.
