Misinformation everlasting problem

Reader comment on item: [American Muslim Group for Policy Planning;] Another "Moderate" Muslim Group

Submitted by NN (Canada), Dec 29, 2005 at 12:06

I see many of the believed problems between the west and 'Islam' are realy superficial. Many misconceptions and many illusions passed on by a one sided media really is the cause of all that.

I am a proud Muslim and believe me if I am not and I am listening to the media around me, I will believe exactly the same as you guys.

I keep asking myself why are there so many converts with all these misconceptions and I find the answer is because of all these media noise, some people thought what is it about this religion that is making all this mess.

Smart people go to QUran and authenticated sources to find the answer ... these are the converts, others not so smart listen and rely on the noise to shape their ideas ... many many of them I see.

Just a simple thing, if you buy a new machine and are seeking info on how it works, do you rely on the manual or on your friend who has same machine and who might not be using it the perfect way ... nonetheless might be using it wrong????

Thanks for reading my long comments.
